Business Development Executive (Education and Training Sector) - £15.00 Per Hour + Commission – Leicestershire-based/ Remote/ Hybrid

The Role

Do you have a proven track record in generating new business and building partnerships? Are you confident identifying client needs and presenting tailored solutions that deliver measurable results? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.

As a Business Development Executive at Cubitt Education, you will be at the heart of our growth journey – connecting with organisations, understanding their training needs and helping them unlock the benefits of our accredited leadership and professional development courses.

No two days will be the same. You will spend your time engaging with potential clients across education, care and corporate sectors, identifying opportunities and shaping partnerships that drive real results. You will have the freedom to work flexibly (both full and part-time considered) supported by a small, friendly team that values creativity and initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients including colleges, care organisations, and corporate employers.
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client training needs and match them to our programmes.
  • Follow up on leads and enquiries, nurturing relationships from initial contact to conversion.
  • Develop and maintain CRM records to track all communications, leads, and conversions.
  • Support marketing campaigns by collaborating on targeted outreach lists and follow-up activities.
  • Represent Cubitt Education professionally in online and in-person networking events.
  • Work with the Managing Director to meet monthly targets and contribute ideas to improve sales strategy.

The Person
  • Experience in business development, telesales, or recruitment (ideally within education or training).
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing your own pipeline.
  • Tech-savvy, with knowledge of CRMs, LinkedIn, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bonus points for experience selling training, apprenticeships, or education services.
