Home Business Development Executive – Edinburgh

Business Development Executive – Edinburgh

Blue Legal has partnered with a growing international law firm, seeking a skilled Business Development Executive to support their international go-to-market strategy and sector teams. The role involves working closely with the Business Development Manager to deliver BD initiatives, bid/proposals, digital marketing, and social media management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist BD Managers in developing, implementing, and reviewing sector-specific business plans, supporting partner leads and their teams in BD activities.
  • Lead and support planning and execution of large strategic campaigns and BD targeting activities, collaborating with team members for successful delivery.
  • Create and update credentials, case studies, and testimonials; work with the design team to prepare client presentations and materials aligned with the firm’s branding.
  • Support BDMs in achieving sector targets and identifying cross-selling opportunities within the client base.
  • Manage and monitor BD activities, providing regular feedback on ROI.
  • Assist the Bids team with major panel tenders, including drafting bids and leading bid opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the BD team to support sectors with CRM queries, client mailings, and event management.
  • Maintain content on various platforms, including the website, intranet, and social channels like LinkedIn and Twitter.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working within a legal or professional services firm.
  • Relevant Business or Marketing degree or equivalent.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Ability to work across teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Please note: Only candidates with experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm, or relevant high-profile agency will be considered. Applications outside these sectors will not be accepted.
