About the Role

As Business Development Executive, you ll play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. You ll develop solution-based proposals, build strong client relationships, and contribute directly to revenue growth and strategic targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive revenue growth by securing new business across the UK and internationally
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities with key decision-makers
  • Develop tailored proposals aligned with client objectives
  • Monitor market trends, emerging sectors, and competitor activity
  • Lead tender submissions and ensure all prerequisites are met
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and promotional functions
  • Produce detailed business reports including revenue forecasts, pipeline health, and conversion rates
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health & safety legislation and industry developments
What You ll Bring
  • Proven experience in a solution-based commercial role within a multi-service organisation
  • Demonstrated success in building sales pipelines and winning new business
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of market competition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation delivery
  • Ability to use IT systems including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Spider, and Salesforce
  • Full UK Driving License
