Business Development Executive – Translation & Localization

While this position is principally, remotely.

This is an outbound sales position where you will be actively sourcing new opportunities to grow the business. You should be confident to push the company’s message, pitch to our prospects meeting and networking with clients through social selling, email marketing and sharing your enthusiasm and passion for languages and delivering high-quality service.

Your Responsibilities
  • Contributing to the growth of the company by identifying and prospecting new opportunities and winning new clients, both corporates and SMEs.
  • Building and maintaining an active pipeline of revenue and activity; ensuring you achieve targets activity levels set for you and agreed upon.
  • Working with the marketing team to help implement new campaigns
  • Performing regular sales variations with outbound calls and email campaigns
  • Attending trade shows and networking events for lead generation
  • Onboarding of new clients
  • Attending client meetings, both face-to-face and remotely
  • Following up on quotes and leads
  • Drawing up quotations and assisting with any RFP / Tender / Proposal
  • Be actively aware of work completed for your clients
  • Tracking and analysing sales performance, Presenting a monthly progression sales report and periodic comparisons
  • Liaising with Account Managers to ensure compliance with agreed service level.
Key Attributes
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in the translation industry, in sales is essential for this role.
  • A high level of IT
  • Excellent translation technology knowledge will be very beneficial for this role
  • A desire to exceed client expectations
  • Good communication skills
  • Business insight and awareness
  • Fluent English to native standard.
