A prestigious hotel group is seeking a Business Development Executive to proactively secure local business events. The ideal candidate will bring previous sales experience in a hotel/events setting and excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include lead generation, market analysis, and collaboration with the sales team. This permanent, part-time position offers a competitive salary and a variety of company perks.
4 days per week
£28,000 per annum + monthly service charge payment + local business travel allowance

Join us in this new role of Business Development Executive with the key responsibility of proactively securing local business events for the hotel. This will be achieved by using your previous hotel sales experience to identify new opportunities, generate leads and strategic partnerships locally.
Reporting to the onsite Sales and Events Manager, with close liaison with the hotel’s General Manager and the group Sales and Marketing teams.
The key responsibilities include.
You will be working with and supporting in house sales team as well as the groups national/international sales team, and marketing team to ensure sales success.
Your focus will be on the local area, and local business generation.
Part of your remit will also include attendance at local trade and networking events to create contacts/sales leads for local businesses. Setting up/hosting local business networking events at the hotel should also be a focus to secure the increase in local business sales required.
