Responsibilities
- Use CRMs, LinkedIn, industry databases, and your own research to develop prospects and create a robust lead funnel.
- Customer and client outreach, emails, social selling. Some real tenacity to get in front of the right people.
- Ask the right questions, understand company pain points, and identify genuine commercial opportunities.
- Maintain a clear, up-to-date pipeline and CRM activity that shows where every opportunity stands.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop messaging and convert opportunities together.
- Understand your industry, your competition, and stay close to emerging trends.
Key Experience Required
- 3+ years in outbound sales or business development, ideally B2B.
- A proven track record of hitting and exceeding targets.
- Charisma and confidence when cold calling or sending that first email.
- Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Resilience, curiosity, and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Great organisation with strong attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Financial Services sector experience.
- Familiarity with sales frameworks like SPIN, Challenger, or MEDDIC.
- Experience personalising outreach to different industries or decision-makers.
