ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Business Development Associate to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Sussex area. As the Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Development Manager and the wider commercial team in building a strong pipeline of opportunities for our client. This role is focused on lead generation, research, prospect engagement, and sales support, with the goal of developing into a client-facing business development professional over time.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct desk research to identify new potential clients in target markets (UK, EU, North America).
  • Maintain Salesforce with accurate and up-to-date prospect, lead, and opportunity data.
  • Coordinate distribution of targeted marketing materials and collateral to prospects.
  • Join initial discovery calls where appropriate to take notes and ensure follow-up actions are tracked.
