SGI in London is seeking a Data Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and data teams, translating priorities into technical requirements and owning the end-to-end process from engagement to modelling and semantic development. You’ll work with Delegated Authority and bordereaux data, support a self-service sandbox for business users, and collaborate with data engineers to ensure solutions meet business needs.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years' experience in a Data Business Analyst or similar role within the London insurance industry.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate across business and technical teams.
• Strong SQL with data warehousing and data modelling knowledge.
• Exposure to Databricks and PySpark.
• Experience with Delegated Authority and bordereaux data.
• Familiarity with Azure and Agile delivery environments.
• Hands-on, solutions-focused approach with the ability to challenge and influence outcomes.

I'm looking for a Data Business Analyst who can effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical data teams.

The role will involve working closely with the business to understand priorities, develop use cases and translate business needs into clear technical requirements. You’ll take ownership across the process, from stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering through to data modelling and support the semantic development.

You’ll be working with Delegated Authority and bordereaux data, helping improve how data is accessed, structured and utilised. There will also be an opportunity to support a self-service sandbox environment, enabling business users to independently explore and test data solutions with less reliance on IT.
