Job summary

SR2 REC LTD is seeking a Business Continuity Management Lead (SC cleared preferred) to deliver hands-on BCM across assigned business areas. You will translate central direction into local processes and build sustainable continuity capability within teams.

The role requires practical experience in developing BIAs, business continuity plans, and embedding BCM into day-to-day operations while working with stakeholders to identify risks and recovery requirements.

Business Continuity Management Lead - SC Cleared (preferred)

Deliver hands-on Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities across assigned business and functional areas.

The role will work closely with business stakeholders to develop Business Impact Analyses, establish fit-for-purpose continuity documentation, improve BCM methods and tooling, and prepare substantive staff to take ongoing ownership.

This is a practical delivery and engagement role suited to someone who can bring structure to BCM activity, translate central direction into usable local processes, and build sustainable continuity capability within business teams.

Due to the nature of the client, SC clearance or eligibility to become cleared is required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with business and functional stakeholders to deliver BCM activity.
• Complete, review and maintain Business Impact Analyses (BIAs).
• Develop practical, proportionate business continuity plans and supporting documentation.
• Identify critical services, dependencies, continuity risks, recovery requirements and gaps.
• Support improvements to BCM methods, templates, governance and tooling.
• Support teams to embed BCM activity into their normal ways of working.
• Coach and support substantive staff so they are able to maintain continuity arrangements independently.
• Work collaboratively with the wider programme team while taking ownership of delivery within assigned functional areas.

Essential experience

• Strong hands-on experience delivering business continuity or operational resilience activity within a complex organisation.
• Practical experience developing and maintaining Business Impact Analyses and business continuity plans.
• Experience identifying critical activities, dependencies, recovery requirements and continuity risks.
• Ability to engage non-specialist business stakeholders and translate BCM principles into clear, workable actions.
• Experience working alongside risk, governance, operational or resilience teams.
• Able to work independently, manage assigned activities and drive actions through to completion.
