DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION

The Streaming department is responsible for the strategy, development, and operation of our digital streaming platform, delivering high-quality, on-demand content to audiences across multiple devices and markets.

The team drives innovation in user experience, content delivery, and platform technology, ensuring our streaming service remains competitive and aligned with evolving consumer expectations.

Working cross-functionally with technology, marketing, content and editorial, commercial and insights, the department is at the forefront of digital transformation enabling the business to reach new audiences and maximize engagement in a rapidly changing media landscape as part of our FAST Forward strategy.

JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking an experienced Business Change Project Manager to lead the business and viewer readiness planning for our new streaming platform. This role will be pivotal in ensuring our people, processes, and viewers are fully prepared for the launch and adoption of our new streaming platform. This also includes planning and implementation of the new operating model.

You will support with the broader Streaming Business Change and Transformation programme, working into the Transformation Lead and helping to shape planning and implement changes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end business change planning and execution for the streaming platform launch ensuring alignment with programme objectives and timelines.
  • Manage the coordination activities for user acceptance testing of the new platform, including working in partnership with e2e test and third parties for trailing and ramp.
  • Lead and deliver readiness and engagement activities across internal teams and viewer-facing functions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Marketing, Content and supporting business areas to ensure alignment and seamless and timely delivery of change. This includes working closely with our third party partners.
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement, communications, and training plans.
  • Support the Operating Model Workstream with planning, coordination, and implementation of changes.
  • Identify, assess and manage risks, dependencies, and issues related to business change and elevate as needed
  • Track progress, report on milestones, and ensure delivery against programme timelines based on feedback
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation throughout the change process.

  • Strong track record of delivering end‑to‑end change plans, including readiness, communications, and training.
  • Familiarity with operating model design and implementation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, agile environment with cross‑functional teams.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • Experience working in media, broadcasting, or digital transformation programs is highly desirable.
  • Experience in change impact assessment and benefits realisation.
  • Knowledge of viewer/user experience and engagement strategies.

Basic salary per annum starting from £75,250.00

Hybrid working

From September 2023, C4 has operated a 60/40 working pattern, equating to three office days per week. Having everyone in the office three days a week gives us more opportunity to build our high performing, inclusive culture; to collaborate and to learn and share with each other, as well as helping to coordinate a regular pattern of home and office working days. Employees then have the flexibility to decide where they spend the rest of the working week. All our offices are open five days a week.
