Business Change Manager

Join the Digital Transformation Team at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as a Business Change Manager, driving user‑centred design and digital transformation across a wide portfolio of projects, including electronic prescribing and patient contact services. You will work closely with people services, clinical colleagues, and the wider digital team to redesign services, improve outcomes, and support the Health Board’s strategy for CTM 2030.

As part of the Digital & Data Directorate in CTM, you will experience rapid growth in challenging projects and opportunities to make a tangible impact on patient care.

Job responsibilities
  • Collaborate with people services, operational and clinical colleagues, and the wider digital team in redesigning services to improve patient outcomes.
  • Facilitate digital transformational change within the health board, ensuring projects meet benefits and change‑management goals.
  • Engage stakeholders, manage change, deliver benefits, and support implementation of key transformation project objectives.
  • Contribute to the Health Board's strategy CTM 2030 and related initiatives.
  • Operate within a fixed 36‑month term, meeting the needs of the service.
Qualifications & Knowledge
  • Degree level education in a related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Training in service improvement or related methods such as Lean 6 Sigma.
  • Deep understanding of change principles and how to apply them.
Experience
  • Leading service change and managing projects in a health‑services environment.
  • Influencing a wide variety of stakeholders across organisations at all levels.
  • Project management and risk management skills.
  • Experience in the NHS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Aptitude and Abilities
  • Leadership, coaching, and management skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities.
  • Ability to lead by example, influence others, and demonstrate digital and data skills.
  • Tact, diplomacy, and political awareness.
Other
  • Able to travel to all CTM sites and other NHS locations.
