Job summary

Click is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to support the ongoing development, enhancement and maintenance of a key ERP platform. The role focuses on designing, building and sustaining AL extensions and integrations, with an emphasis on reliability and maintainability.

You will work closely with the ERP Technical Lead to deliver robust solutions and contribute to CI/CD improvements.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
• Strong AL development knowledge and BC extensions.
• Experience building integrations via APIs and web services.
• Experience supporting live BC environments and production issues.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and controlled software releases.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain AL extensions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Deliver new functionality and enhancements in line with business requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support business processes across finance, operations, sales, purchasing, inventory, reporting and customer workflows.
• Build and maintain integrations between BC and external platforms and internal services.
• Use APIs and web services to enable secure data exchange.
• Collaborate with ERP Technical Lead on design and implementation.
• Participate in code reviews and follow development standards.
• Own delivery from requirements gathering to development, testing and release.
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests where appropriate.
• Investigate and resolve production issues affecting BC customisations.
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks and deliver improvements.
• Produce documentation covering extensions, integrations and decisions.

Business Central Developer - Contract

Remote | £380 per day | Outside IR35 | Initial 6-month contract

We're looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to support the ongoing development, enhancement and maintenance of a key ERP platform.

Working closely with the ERP Technical Lead, you'll deliver reliable and maintainable Business Central extensions and integrations. The role will combine project-based development with BAU support, troubleshooting and improvements to CI/CD processes.

• Experience building integrations using APIs and web services.
• Experience supporting live Business Central environments and resolving production issues.
• Understanding of CI/CD practices and controlled software releases.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end delivery.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with technical leads and cross-functional teams.
