A prominent insurance services provider is looking for a Business Assurance Business Partner to oversee audit processes, collaborate with the audit team, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in compliance within the insurance sector and possess strong analytical and project management skills. This role requires excellent communication abilities and the capacity to influence and advocate best practices within the organization.
The Role:
As a Business Assurance Business Partner, you will work closely with the Business Assurance Manager and Head of Business Assurance to maintain the first‑line review framework for Howden Specialty. You will collaborate with the audit team, serve as a point of contact for the business, supervise audit findings, lead specific projects and reviews, evaluate business processes against policies, procedures and controls, and provide actionable recommendations. This multifaceted role combines technical oversight, stakeholder engagement and the promotion of best practice across the business.
Required skills include continuous improvement, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and the ability to work collaboratively and manage conflict effectively.
