Graduate Pest Control Technician Role

You will start as a Pest Control Technician, spending your initial 6–12 months covering a specific geographical area and providing invaluable support to customers by resolving pest issues while receiving comprehensive training. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
  • Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
  • Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
  • Completing accurate reports after every visit.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.

During the next 12‑36 months you will have the opportunity to choose your career path from one of the following roles:

  • Sales Surveyor
  • Field Biologist
  • Service Team Leader
  • Key Account Manager
Requirements
  • A minimum 2.2 degree in a science/BSc‑related subject including social science, or a BA in business management, hospitality or tourism.
  • A desire to work hard and have fun while meeting and interacting with customers daily.
  • Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
  • May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
