Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our team at the Okehampton branch, covering the Honiton, Chard and Sidmouth area. You will manage visits, resolve pest issues, and advise customers on hygiene and prevention. Comprehensive training is provided.

A full UK driving licence is required, with a DBS check possible depending on role. The position offers a competitive salary of £27,669 with potential to earn £32,566 OTE, a company vehicle, fuel card, uniform and RI Rewards.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK driving licence held for more than two years with no more than six penalty points.
• GCSE Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
• May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role.

The Role

Your role as a Pest Control Technician will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their pest issues. Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
