Job Overview

February 2026 start - Maternity Cover John Lyon School is delighted to invite applications for a Business and Data Administrator to provide maternity cover from the end of February 2026. Based primarily at our Prep School campus, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the Central Administration Team and occasionally will be required to work at the Senior School campus to support colleagues there. We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised individual with a positive, can-do approach who enjoys working in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. Previous experience in a school office setting would be beneficial, and excellent customer/client focus and IT skills are essential. Knowledge of school systems such as iSAMS, InVentry, SOCS, ParentPay, MSP, and Microsoft Office 365 would be an advantage, though training can be provided. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for someone returning to the workplace and keen to refresh, develop, and build confidence in their skills, as well as for candidates seeking a role that fits around a term‑time working pattern plus three additional weeks. Working Hours & Benefits

Normal Hours of Work The normal working days will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one‑hour unpaid break for lunch. This role is term time plus 3 weeks per annum (37 weeks in total). Benefits include:
