Business Analyst with Apps Transformation experience
Role Summary
  • Initially the Business Analysts will join an Application Modernisation programme; but over time there will be opportunities to take on a wider range of opportunities for example in Software development programmes.
  • Within the Application Modernisation programme, the Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the transformation of legacy applications into modern, scalable, and cloud-native solutions. You'll bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions.
  • You'll thrive using agile methods and enjoy working collaboratively with business units and multidisciplinary teams.
  • You'll contribute to the digital transformation of an organization.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for applications in scope.
  • Work with Architects, business owners and project managers to ensure technical solutions meet business processes and expectations.
  • Support application configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
  • Maintain documentation including user guides, process flows, and system specifications.
  • Assist in change management and user training efforts.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the modernisation process.
Skills Required:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical or application-focused role.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with a range of application types (E.g. Enterprise, Custom, Packaged).
  • Proficiency in data analysis.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
  • Agile/Scrum certification.
