We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst who's innovative, collaborative, and ready to act on opportunities that will have a significant impact on the way we work. You'll help drive change and transformation across our organisation by understanding needs, translating them into actionable deliverables, and shaping holistic solutions that deliver positive outcomes for our colleagues, customers and communities.

  • Supporting the delivery of transformation initiatives by identifying business needs and defining clear, actionable requirements.
  • Working across cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment between stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Investigating operational issues and opportunities, analysing root causes, and helping shape effective business solutions.
  • Specifying data, information flows and process improvements that support business objectives.
  • Contributing to the development of business cases and holistic solutions across people, processes, information and technology.
  • Applying a range of analysis techniques, modelling approaches and documentation standards.
  • Supporting continuous improvement of our business analysis practices, tools and methods.
  • Conducting proof-of-concept or prototyping exercises to test feasibility and value.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and understanding their influence and interests.
Essential:
  • BCS Practitioner Certificate in Business Analysis or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working across the full project lifecycle.
  • Exposure to Agile and traditional delivery approaches.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio or similar.
Desirable:
  • Agile or SAFe certification (e.g., AgileBA, SAFe BA).
  • Experience in complex change or transformation programmes.
  • Sector knowledge in utilities, finance or digital transformation.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Technology or a related field.
