Overview

Business Analyst (Experienced/Senior Level) – Northern Ireland. Hybrid working model

Our growing client are a specialist software company. This is a new permanent role for an additional Lending/Collections professional to join their growing Product team.

You will use your domain knowledge to help work with pioneering products in this space.

In this BA role you will act as an important interface between customers and project managers. You will gather information, carry out detailed requirements analyses, document processes and customer-specific functions, and conduct user acceptance tests.

Knowledge

• Completed degree with a focus on economics, business informatics, computer science or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the financial sector (e.g. banking, receivables management, debt collection)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Advanced technical skills
• Good verbal communication and writing skills and interpersonal skills

Experience

• Experience in querying databases (e.g. SQL)
• Experience in working with customers and business partners
• Affinity for solving technical problems
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement, developing and implementing solutions
• Performing requirements analyses and creating customer specifications
• Documenting and communicating effort estimates
• Creating user stories
• Ensuring that solutions meet business needs and requirements

This position requires a proactive, analytical individual with a strong mix of Lending domain experience and some technical knowledge.
