The Role: Business Analyst - Healthcare

Location: Remote, UK

Role type: Inside IR35 Contract - 6 months

Job Description

The customer has emphasized the need for expertise in FHIR and HL7 standards within the healthcare domain in addition to below specific requirements.

Work from office: Nottingham, Sutton (London), Edinburgh, and Manchester (Mostly remote, visit customer for PI planning, retrospective and Agile ceremonies; travel required based on customer requirement)

Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis
    • Ability to elicit, document, and analyse business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
  • System Integration Knowledge
    • Understanding of APIs, Middleware, data flows, and how systems communicate across platforms.
  • Data Mapping & Transformation
    • Skill in identifying how data moves between systems and ensuring accurate mapping and formatting.
  • Process Modelling
    • Creating visual models of workflows, data flows, and system interactions to clarify integration points.
  • Technical Documentation
    • Writing clear specs for developers, including integration requirements, data schemas, and interface contracts.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Navigating between business users, developers, architects, and vendors to align expectations and priorities.
  • Agile & Scrum Methodologies
    • Familiarity with iterative development, user stories, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
  • Testing & Validation Support
    • Assisting in integration testing, defining test cases, and validating data accuracy across systems.
  • Proficiency in Integration Tools
    • Experience with MuleSoft.
