Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and programme teams to align migration activities with business needs.
  • End-to-End Data Understanding: Analyse and interpret data across the full data lifecycle from extraction and transformation to validation and load, defining transformation rules and mapping to ensure accuracy, and completeness from source to target systems. Document data models, lineage and dependencies to support transparency and traceability.
  • Data Analysis & Quality Assurance: Work with large datasets to perform detailed profiling, cleansing, and validation of large datasets to identify anomalies, gaps, and inconsistencies. Develop and execute reconciliation approaches to verify data accuracy post-migration. Produce metrics and dashboards to monitor data quality and migration progress.
  • Documentation & Artefact Management: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of migration requirements, logic, transformation rules, and reconciliation methods.
  • ETL Tools Proficiency: Utilize tools such as Excel, Access DB, and Power BI for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Support the creation of automated validation and reconciliation scripts or queries where possible.
