We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Change team within the Northgate Group, playing a key role in shaping how our business evolves. You’ll work on our change projects, collaborating with business areas and IT partners to understand problems, analyse opportunities, and define clear, actionable requirements that deliver real operational improvement.
You’ll work across multiple business domains to identify how processes, systems, and data can work better together, ensuring every change is grounded in business value and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and understand the current business state, including challenges, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Perform stakeholder analysis to identify perspectives, influences, and engagement needs.
- Conduct detailed gap analysis between the current ("As Is") and desired ("To Be") business states.
- Elicit, analyse, validate, and document business and system requirements, using industry‑standard techniques.
- Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements that guide design, development, and testing activities.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and test teams to ensure solutions align with the agreed business objectives.
- Support business readiness and acceptance activities to ensure implemented solutions deliver the intended value.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of BA practices within the change team.

- Salary – £40,000 – £50,000 per annum dependent on your level of experience, enhanced by a company car/car allowance.

About You
- You have at least two years of proven experience working as a Business Analyst, ideally within a digital services or transformation environment.
- You have strong core analysis skills, including requirements elicitation, process mapping, data analysis, and stakeholder management.
- You are familiar with recognised techniques such as requirements engineering, process modelling, user story mapping and the INVEST framework.
- You can translate complex business needs into structured, actionable documentation understood by both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- You are experienced in supporting testing and validation phases, including preparing and reviewing test scripts.
- You hold or are working towards a recognised BA qualification (ISEB/BCS) or can demonstrate equivalent practical experience.
- You are naturally curious, collaborative, and passionate about delivering meaningful business change.
