Job description

We are working with a well-established law firm based in SE London seeking a technically minded Business Analyst to join its IT team. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will act as the link between business stakeholders, technical teams and external suppliers, helping deliver technology solutions, improve processes and support the firm’s wider IT strategy.

You will gather and document business requirements, identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, and coordinate system enhancements from initial requirements through to testing and implementation. You will also support project delivery, change control, troubleshooting, system integrations and information security, including preparations for ISO 27001 certification.

You will have experience in a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or similar role, with strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills. You will understand software development principles, be comfortable interpreting code and technical documentation, and have a working knowledge of applications, databases and APIs.

Experience with SQL, Git/GitHub, Power BI or AI-assisted development tools would be advantageous, although practical programming experience is not essential.
