VirtueTech Recruitment Group is helping a growing energy trading business hire a Senior Front Office Business Analyst to drive expansion across trading desks, products and international markets. This role sits on the trading floor, collaborating with traders, operations and technology to deliver front-office initiatives.

You will translate complex trading requirements into scalable technology solutions, engage senior stakeholders, and support onboarding of new geographies and renewable energy

Formación

• Strong front office BA experience within energy trading.
• Experience with gas, power, LNG or broader commodities trading environments.
• Understanding of trade lifecycle processes including nominations, scheduling, trade capture, pricing, and P&L reporting.
• Knowledge of fixed-price and index-linked trading products.
• Experience delivering business and technology change initiatives within trading organisations.
• Ability to engage directly with traders and senior front-office stakeholders.
• Exposure to renewable energy markets including solar, wind, and energy storage is highly desirable.

I'm currently working with a growing energy trading business that is looking to hire a Senior Front Office Business Analyst to support a significant expansion across trading desks, products, and international markets.

This is not a traditional Business Analyst role. The position sits at the heart of the trading floor, working directly with traders, operations, and technology teams to deliver front-office initiatives that enable the launch of new trading desks, onboard new geographies, and support the continued growth of both traditional and renewable energy trading activities.

The environment is fast-paced and highly commercial, requiring someone who can quickly understand complex trading concepts and translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions. The team is looking for a BA who is comfortable challenging stakeholders, driving requirements from inception through delivery, and operating within a front-office trading environment where decisions are made in real time.

This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of energy products while helping shape the future of a rapidly evolving trading business. You'll be involved in initiatives spanning physical and financial trading, renewable energy markets, and the onboarding of new trading capabilities across multiple regions.
