At Virgin Money we’re recruiting a Business Analyst to join our supportive and collaborative team to help us deliver transformational change within our Cyber Security Programme.

This role is ideal for a Business Analyst who is passionate about learning more about Cyber Security.

What you’ll be doing
  • Building and utilising your Business Analysis skillset within Cyber Security projects
  • Working on projects that deliver business and technical change
  • Working on projects end to end from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation
  • Working proactively and collaboratively with those around you, input in to planning, providing progress updates, and input into project risks and issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and implement innovative solutions
  • Conducting business analysis activities including requirements, data analysis and impact analysis
  • Conducting business readiness activities including communication & training plans, and implementation planning
We need you to have
  • A strong track record of successfully delivering on Business Analysis activities, using different methodologies and techniques gained by working on multiple projects.
  • Experience of successfully delivering Business Analysis and readiness work across the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, stakeholder management, use cases, Business Impact assessments, process mapping as is & to be, creating and delivering communications & training plans, creation of support models & operating models and RACI.
  • Experience of working in technical IT projects
  • A curious mindset – willingness to learn within technical projects, ability to ask questions to translate technical information into simple business language.
  • Experience in data gathering and analysis including use of MS Excel/ Power BI
  • Demonstrable experience of building relationships with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Experience of participating in meetings and workshops, sharing your thoughts and ideas.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
  • First class inter‑personal skills, coupled with influencing abilities and a can‑do attitude to keep focused on delivering the right business outcome.

  • Exposure to multiple delivery methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
