Overview

Contract Business Analyst – Business Change / Target Operating Model (TOM) - Recent insurance sector experience essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to analyse and document current state operating models and define the future state TOM.
• Facilitate workshops to gather, validate, and prioritise business requirements.
• Translate business objectives into clear processes, capabilities, and operating model components.
• Support programme and change teams in designing, testing, and embedding TOM-related changes.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and benefits realisation tracking.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring alignment and clarity throughout the change lifecycle.

Skills & Experience Required

• Recent insurance experience is essential and we are unable to consider applications outside of this.
• Proven track record as a Business Analyst in large-scale business transformation programmes.
• Hands-on experience in Target Operating Model (TOM) design and implementation.
• Strong background in business change, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to operate at both a strategic and detailed level, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships across all levels.
• Previous experience in an industry such as financial services, public sector, or utilities is desirable but not essential.
