Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Barrow-in-Furness. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements – please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.

Salary: circa £50,000subject to skills and experience

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyse and document business requirements to inform solution selection and deployment plans

  • Ensure process alignment across international partners and internal teams

  • Maintain clear traceability between business needs and technical delivery

  • Provide insight through Business Analysis and process modelling to drive informed decisions

  • Act as a key voice in shaping the digital and business architecture of the SSNA programme

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Validated experience in business analysis within multi-layered organisations

  • Good skills in requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and traceability

  • Demonstrable experience using Business Analyst tools and techniques to support strategy-making

  • Process modelling and continuous improvement experience

  • Understanding of project delivery within Agile or hybrid methodologies

Desirable:

  • BCS Diploma or qualified through equivalent experience

This role is key to establishing enterprise-level collaboration, enabling integrated, secure, and scalable processes across both nations. You’ll be working with stakeholders across the business to translate needs into actionable insights and ensure that requirements are aligned to support delivery of complex solutions. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
