Business Administrator Main Responsibilities
- Assist the Director with day-to-day business affairs and coordination across the asset management team
- Act as a central point for internal communications and approvals
- Prepare internal reporting memos and manage internal approval workflows
- Maintain document management systems ensuring version control and compliance with company standards
- Compile and distribute routine environmental reports as required
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables
- Prepare professional slide decks and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in preparing for new projects, including planning, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
- Demonstrate strong financial acumen to validate invoices and ensure accuracy against reports
- Coordinate with external parties for submission of reports and invoicing documentation
- Support budget tracking and cost control processes
- Manage onerous environmental reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
- Liaise with relevant teams to gather data and validate compliance information
- Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal workflows for key business processes
- Document and implement best practices for approvals, reporting, and project management
- Continuously review and improve operational processes for efficiency and compliance
- Assist in asset sales (liquidation) processes, including documentation, coordination, and reporting
- Support development of business playbooks for recurring processes and strategic initiatives
Business Administrator Ideal Candidate
- Experience in financial and sales administration, and business coordination
- Experience in drafting procedures, SOPs, workflows, and playbooks
- Good financial acumen with experience in invoice validation and cost tracking
- Background in asset management or energy sector
- Understanding of internal governance and approval processes
- Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior leadership
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and document management systems
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
