Job description

The Business Administration Apprentice will be an integral part of our dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity for an individual to gain hands‑on experience in various aspects of business administration while working towards a recognised qualification. The successful candidate will be exposed to diverse projects and responsibilities, contributing to the overall success and growth of Hampshire FA in the Facilities sector.

Role includes
  • Actively deliver against Company Values and Behaviours and the Customer Charter.
  • Actively support the challenging of all forms of discrimination in football.
  • Actively maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Operational:
    • Prepare all facility requirements to ensure a first‑class customer experience.
    • Support risk management checks and inspections to identify areas of repair and/or improvement.
    • Assist in helping maximise the catering operation by utilising the available space and meeting the needs of the customer whilst also supporting the bar/catering operation at peak times.
    • Support and assist with the 3G, grass and building maintenance programmes ensuring the facilities are maintained to a high standard.
    • Assist in the supervision and controlled entrance areas to ensure customers access and exit the facility appropriately.
    • Contribute to project planning, execution and monitoring under the guidance of experienced managers.
    • Generate reports and presentations to communicate insights and trends.
    • Provide administrative assistance to various departments, ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations.
    • Assist in maintaining organised records, databases, and documentation, including facility bookings.
    • Facilitate effective communication within the organisation and externally.
    • Prepare draft emails, reports, and other business correspondence, showcasing professional communication skills.
    • Assist in other support services such as waste disposal, cleaning, parking and pitch logistics.
    • Participate in facility team meetings and contribute ideas to improve processes.

    • Drive passion for the overall standards and appearance of the facility always.
    • Be an advocate of the brand, by compliance with policies, procedures and brand standards.
