An Apprenticeship Education Programme is an integrated work based training and development programme, an excellent springboard to start your NHS career while gaining knowledge and competencies leading to a nationally accredited apprenticeship qualification and possible future career progression.

Exciting opportunities have arisen for Business Administration Apprentices, within Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust; the posts are available to anyone who is interested in working within an NHS Healthcare environment while completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification (15 month).

Successful applicants, on completion of their apprenticeship programme will be able to apply for vacancies within Northumbria Healthcare Trust, where their qualifications meet the requirements for the post, and will be guaranteed an interview.

Responsibilities
  • To support and assist in the provision of an administration service to the designated department/ward team.
  • Data input, storage and retrieval of data, filing, handling of post and dealing with telephone enquiries.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, motivation and a proactive attitude to learning.
  • Minimum required education as stated for the apprenticeship pathway.
  • Interest in working within an NHS Healthcare environment while completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification (15 months).
  • Be prepared and knowledgeable within the working environment and work towards gaining a Level 3 Apprenticeship as a Business Administrator.
