A local educational institution in Coventry seeks a Business Administration Apprentice to provide clerical support and be the first point of contact for visitors. This role involves customer service, teamwork, and working alongside experienced staff while studying for a Level 3 School Administrator Apprenticeship. The position offers £8.60 per hour for the initial 12 months with potential for further employment opportunities.
Edgewick Community Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, kind and customer‑service focused Admin Apprentice. As a new apprentice you will be the first point of contact for callers and visitors to the school, offering guidance and assistance in person and by telephone. You will provide clerical support to the school, and members of the Leadership Team under the guidance of the Admin Officer, School Business Manager and Headteacher.
Our apprentices will work alongside experienced staff to gain skills related to their job whilst also studying towards a Level 3 School Administrator Apprenticeship. Details about the apprenticeship can be found here: Level 3 Apprenticeship Business Administration – HOET.
We believe that by working in our school you will be given the opportunity to develop the knowledge, skills and experience that will allow you to be successfully employed in a future school admin role whether that is at Edgewick or elsewhere.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm or 12pm to 4pm – can be negotiated at interview.
Wage: £8.60 per hour for the first 12 months then NMW for the remaining time.
Term time only plus training days (39 weeks).
16 months plus 3 months EPA.
