About the Role

DP World in the UK is at the heart of Britain’s trading future, providing the right trading infrastructure, smart logistical solutions and the benefits of freeport status to our customers. An excellent opportunity has opened within CNS for a Business Administration Apprenticeship.

This role supports the CNS Commercial team with admin tasks across Sales, Account Management, and Executive functions. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in business communication, coordination and using CRM tools in a fast‑paced trade and logistics environment.

Location: Southampton

How you will contribute
  • Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries via the Commercial inbox and phone.
  • Support the Account Management team with admin tasks, CRM updates and meeting coordination.
  • Assist with diary management, travel booking and document preparation.
  • Help organise meetings, events and internal communications.
  • Maintain data accuracy across systems and support wider commercial functions as needed.
  • Work alongside the Sales Administrator to provide support and cover as required.
What you will bring
  • Minimum 5 GCSE passes at Grades A–C, including Maths and English.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint and learning Excel.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Good communication skills both written and oral.

Able to work on one's own initiative. NOTE: All of our roles are subject to the below:

  • A full valid UK driving licence or appropriate international licence allowing you to drive on UK roads.
  • No unspent criminal convictions.
  • Due to manufacturing guidelines on equipment and site safety critical health and safety requirements, we have strict weight and medical requirements that need to be met and maintained. For our safety critical roles health and medical and fitness checks are performed. Requirements include, but are not limited to, weight, height, blood pressure and hearing.
  • We may close our roles early, depending on the number of applications received.
