Job summary

A leading training provider is looking for a Business Administrator apprentice to support administrative tasks at Roseberry Academy in Great Ayton. Responsibilities include handling enquiries, data entry, and financial administration while working towards a Level 3 qualification. Candidates should have GCSEs in English and Maths, along with excellent communication skills and knowledge of MS Office. Job description
Responsibilities
  • Handling enquiries from parents, staff, and the community via face‑to‑face interaction, phone, and email.
  • Carrying out general administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing, and routine correspondence.
  • Using a variety of IT systems to complete data entry and other computer‑based tasks.
  • Assisting with the monitoring, maintenance, and distribution of stock, including ordering supplies when required.
  • Supporting general financial administration, including raising purchase orders, ordering stock, and checking deliveries.
  • Demonstrating a duty of care and complying with all Health & Safety requirements at all times; working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification over 16 months.
  • All online/remote learning, no classroom or college day release.
  • An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship, enabling you to develop, implement, maintain and improve administrative services.

  • Milestone 2 – IT Skills (Systems, Record and document production, Financial processes and Professionalism and productivity)
  • Milestone 3 – Communication (Verbal, Digital, Social Media, Stakeholder Management, Problem Solving, Integrity and Productivity)
  • Milestone 4 – Continuous Improvement (Processes, Coaching and Developing others, Decision Making, Quality and Responsibility)
  • Milestone 5 – Project Management (Project Lifecycle, business fundamentals: Finance, Change, PESTLE, leading a project)
  • Milestone 6 – Preparation for End Point Assessment
