Up to £24.89 per hour, Guaranteed 45 minimum hours working Monday to Sunday (any 5 over 7 days) with overtime potentially available

We’re looking for a skilled Master Technician to join our engineering team in Perth. You’ll bring your expertise to maintaining and repairing a modern, varied fleet, including electric and hybrid vehicles, while playing a vital role in mentoring apprentices and developing the next generation of engineers.

Whether you're working in the depot or out on the road, this is a hands‑on role where your technical knowledge keeps our community moving.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Carrying out complex diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs to PCV vehicles
  • Using diagnostic equipment to identify and fix mechanical and electrical faults
  • Supporting and mentoring engineering apprentices
  • Assisting with vehicle issues both in the depot and out on the road
  • Maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards across the fleet
What we’re looking for:
  • Minimum Level 3 BTEC/NVQ (or equivalent) in HGV/PCV maintenance
  • Demonstrable previous Engineering experience, with a vehicular focus i.e. bus, HGV / LGV, truck, haulage, automotive, plant, rail, farm etc
  • Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
  • A proactive, safety-first mindset with attention to detail and pride in doing a job well
