Job summary

Arriva London is looking for a Skilled Engineer to maintain and repair a fleet of buses to the highest standards. You will perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and reactive repairs, ensuring servicing and inspections meet Arriva and DVSA guidelines.

We offer flexible shifts, a competitive salary, overtime, and training including High Voltage Level 1-4/EV training, with opportunities to upgrade licenses and support wellbeing. This is a full-time role based in London.

Qualifications

• PSV, HGV, or light vehicle maintenance and repair qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent) or 5+ years hands-on experience.
• Valid UK driving license with no more than 6 points.
• PCV license preferred or willing to obtain one.
• Medical fitness: able to pass a PCV pre-employment medical.
• A passion for delivering safe, reliable and high-quality maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis and reactive repairs on a fleet of buses.
• Ensure servicing, inspections and repairs meet Arriva and DVSA standards.
• Assist with MOT preparation and preventative maintenance campaigns.
• Improve bus reliability through monitoring, maintenance and repair.
