Job summary

Air Products in the United Kingdom seeks a Bulk HGV Driver to deliver products safely and on time to Air Products customers and own sites. You will follow established processes, maintain safety standards, and support customer relationships to drive long‑term retention.

Responsibilities include DVSA‑aligned vehicle checks, loading/unloading, and regulatory training. A strong safety mindset and excellent communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• LGV 1 license (HGV Class 1/C+E) with unrestricted status.
• ADR training and CPC qualification current.
• Demonstrated safety‑first driving record.

Bulk HGV Driver

In this position you will provide timely and accurate delivery of products to Air Products customers and own sites in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures. You will embrace Air Products core safety values, being the safest gas company in the world. The role provides a front‑line business‑critical activity, being part of the Air Products team supporting our continuing customer relationship, which improves retention on a long‑term basis.

Responsibilities

• Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
• Pre & Post vehicle check in‑line with DVSA guidelines, and Air Products standards, which may change from time‑to‑time.
• Loading, unloading and all other activities associated with product management in‑line with Distribution working instructions and procedures available via ‘RTL Knowledgebase app’.
• Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
• Maintain tachograph infringement level in‑line with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, and Air Products standards, whereby regular feedback, monitoring and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.

Requirements

• LGV 1 license (HGV Class 1/C+E unrestricted
• Proven tanker driving experience.
• Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum
• Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status
• Proven track record of working within a safety‑first environment.
• Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills.
• Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, and to achieve best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data.
