Job summary

Central EMS is seeking a candidate to own the control side of heating, cooling and ventilation in live buildings. You will write and manage set-points within a high-trust environment, ensuring safety and compliance.

This role focuses on control strategies across assets, maintaining constraint models, and diagnosing deviations from expected building behavior. Experience in HVAC/building services with software fluency is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Real HVAC or building services experience.
• Sufficient software fluency to work in a codebase rather than a BMS front end.

Responsibilities

• Own control strategies for heating, cooling and ventilation across residential, office, hotel and retail assets.
• Maintain constraint models that keep comfort bands, legionella cycles and statutory limits as hard limits, not optimisation targets.
• Commission new buildings onto the platform and diagnose why a building is not behaving as the model expects.
