Building Surveyor - Legal Disrepair (PO7)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Building Surveyor specializing in Legal Disrepair to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that residential properties comply with legal standards and are maintained to a high standard for our tenants. As a Building Surveyor, you will play a critical role in assessing disrepair claims and determining the necessary actions to remedy issues identified within properties. You will engage with tenants to ensure their concerns are adequately addressed and will work alongside legal teams to provide expert technical advice during disputes. Requirements
  • Qualified Building Surveyor with a relevant degree or equivalent experience.

  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, health and safety standards, and housing law.
  • Proven experience in property inspection and survey reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
