Job Opportunity – Building Surveyor – Disrepairs Team

Hours: Permanent - 37 hours per week

Salary: Grade 9 £39,152 – £41,771

An opportunity has arisen for a full‑time permanent Surveyor within the Disrepair Team. You will handle solicitor claims made by tenants within the Housing Repairs Team and work as part of a small team.

Responsibilities
  • Liaising with team members, customers, contractors and senior management on a daily basis.
  • Conducting site visits to assess works required to handle the claim.
  • Reporting detailed Scott Schedules for every property and completing a schedule of works; perform admin tasks to ensure claims are turned around in an acceptable timeframe.
Qualifications
  • Valid qualification within repairs & maintenance.
  • Excellent understanding of repair work in tenanted properties.
  • Experience in the disrepair sector is advantageous; training can be provided.
