It’s an exciting time to join Warwick District Council’s Neighbourhood and Assets team, as we deliver on a variety of building projects for the Council’s housing stock and to our many historic buildings. Our projects are varied and interesting and will provide you with building project challenges not often found within our sector.

We are looking for a Building Surveyor to join our experienced team on a permanent basis. Our work involves specifying and managing works to the Council’s housing stock and providing aids and adaptations work for our tenants.

It also involves work to our corporate and commercial premises including many buildings in conservation areas and several which are of regional and national importance.

We are also involved with fire safety measures and HHSRS risks and solutions, for which experience would be an advantage. All of this is underpinned by our Climate Emergency priorities, ensuring that our buildings are energy efficient and that our tenant’s homes are warm and safe.

We work on an agile basis, with much of our work being delivered either on site or from home; office and hybrid working are also available. Whilst home working is offered for this role, it is a requirement that the successful candidate be available to attend meetings at our offices within Warwick district when required.
