We are currently seeking a Building Surveyor based in Milton Keynes for a full-time, permanent position with one of our clients, a growing specialist surveying and consultancy provider.

Summary of the Building Surveyor role

Salary: £50,000 depending on experience
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor

• Conduct building inspections
• Perform acquisition surveys and dilapidation assessments
• Manage contract administration
• Oversee maintenance and refurbishment projects
• Record Continuing Professional Development (CPD) under RICS requirements
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new business opportunities

Requirements for a successful Building Surveyor

• Membership of MRICS
• A relevant degree
• Substantial post-qualification experience in Building Surveying
• Strong IT skills, proficient in Word and Excel
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Ability to achieve fee targets
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
