We are hiring a Building Surveyor to work on diverse projects across retail, health, energy, commercial property, education, and public sectors. In this role, you will manage client relationships, handle technical and legal issues, and contribute to innovative project delivery.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage regional projects across various sectors, performing building surveying duties.
• Apply standard forms of building contracts such as JCT and NEC.
• Ensure quality, safety, and environmental principles are integrated into survey, design, and management activities.
• Line manage, mentor, and train junior staff.
• Support senior managers in daily activities.
• Conduct surveys, inspections, and develop professional reports and manage regional schemes.

What you bring:

• A B.Sc. (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited degree.
• Significant building surveying experience and technical knowledge.
• Experience managing clients with a focus on profitability and business development.
• Proficiency in drafting technical documents, asset reviews, feasibility studies, specifications, and drawings.
• Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and statutory compliance.
• Excellent time management, punctuality, and commitment.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and supporting colleagues' development.
• Ability to foster positive relationships and respect diverse viewpoints.
