Overview

MMP Consultancy are seeking general repairs Building Surveyors for a social housing organisation in South London.

Interim contracts paying £300 per day Inside IR35.

Title: Building Surveyor
Contract: Rolling 3 month contract
Location: South London
Hybrid: On site and in office with WFH on occasion

Key Duties

• Conducting thorough property inspections to identify and assess repair needs, including but not limited to:
• Structural issues: Cracks, dampness, leaks
• Plumbing and electrical problems
• Faulty wiring, Roofing defects, missing tiles
• Mould and damp: Identifying sources and assessing severity
• Preparing detailed and accurate survey reports, including photographs and supporting documentation
• General adhoc repairs
• Providing expert advice and recommendations for repairs and remedial works
• Liaising with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
• Adhering to relevant building regulations and industry best practice
