During this 12 month programme, you will work with some of the best Building Surveying specialists in the Real Estate industry. You'll gain firsthand experience within our Building Surveying teams. Exceptional performance during your placement may lead to an invitation to interview for our graduate scheme the following year.
Responsibilities
- Visiting sites to complete Building Surveyor's inspections.
- Completing desktop survey research about sites.
- Preparing reports following inspections to outline the state of the property/site.
- Acting as a Contract Administrator and Employer's Agent on fit‑out and refurbishment contracts.
- Negotiating schedules of dilapidations and preparing exit strategies for required repair work.
- Helping with planning preventative maintenance plans.
- Assisting with the coordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required.
- Keeping your knowledge up to date with building and sustainability standards, legal knowledge, and building pathology.

Qualifications
- GCSEs - C / 4 grade or above in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Degree – on track to receive a 2:1 or above in any bachelor's degree in Building Surveying.
- You should be undertaking a degree with an industrial placement year as part of your studies.
- Right to work in the UK: You will need to have the right to work in the UK, with no time restrictions or limited working hours, as this is a full‑time role.

Compensation
Estimated compensation for this position is: £25,207. The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
