A leading educational institution in the UK is seeking a Building Services Manager to optimize regional performance across 24 campuses. This hybrid role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, developing robust design specifications, and leading critical asset management. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of HVAC and building systems, with at least 5 years of leadership experience. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Building Services Manager to join the team on a full time, two-year fixed term basis. This is a hybrid role and can be based at our Regional Support Office in Warwick or from home / remote working. There will be extensive travel to our 24 campuses across the UK, Scotland and Ireland.
Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will play a key role in optimising regional performance by driving building standards, quality assurance and cost efficiencies. The key purpose of this role is to develop and deliver a strategic framework that provides “best in class” processes and practices, embedding sustainable building efficiencies, effective design standards and specifications for all core building services.
As the subject matter expert, you will have in-depth knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing and other building systems, including their design, operation and maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the business complies with industry standards, codes of practice, regulations and law.
Working in collaboration with the regional teams you will develop and implement design standard specifications, lifecycles planning and contractual service agreements for critical building services. Delivering a clear and consistent model that can be used in pre-construction phase through to operational delivery.
