Overview

Building Services Manager - Bristol - c£450 a day CIS - tier 1 Main Contractor - labs project - 12 month+ contract. Working for a tier 1 main Contractor specialising in providing construction, services and property management expertise in Building and Civil Engineering, Property Development, Industrial and Critical Systems sectors. You will be charged with the delivery of MEP services on a laboratory project on the outskirts of Bristol. You will be required to carry out the full coordination and management of M&E services installations of this project working as part of a team and reporting to a Lead MEP Manager.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and manage the installation of Mechanical and Electrical services on a laboratory project.
• Lead an on‑site M&E team and monitor the progress of M&E sub‑contractors.
• Produce and implement commissioning, testing and inspection documentation, ready for handover.
• Influence and contribute to M&E design coordination, particularly within the critical systems arena (hospitals, laboratories, Data Centres, etc.).

Qualifications

• Minimum HND level in a relevant field.
• Good level of experience working for at least 5 years within the MEP contracting arena with a tier one M&E Sub‑contractor or as a Building Services Manager within a main contracting environment.
• Mechanical background preferred; a good understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical services is advantageous.
• Experience of working on laboratory or Data Centre projects would be advantageous.
