Pay: £47,500 per annum (incl. Outer London weighting)

FTE: 35 hours per week over 52 weeks

We are seeking a BSE Tutor / Assessor – Building Services Engineering (Apprenticeships) who will act as the main point of contact for apprentices, providing information, advice and guidance, monitoring progress against apprenticeship standards and maintaining strong relationships with employers to ensure apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and professional behaviours (KSBs) they need to carry out their job role successfully.

Responsibilities
  • Provide teaching and assessment to apprentices and learners working towards individual qualifications and apprenticeship standards across various environments, including college and the workplace.
  • Manage a caseload efficiently to ensure timely completion of all qualifications through scheduled block and day‑release sessions at college and assessment visits at the apprentice’s place of work.
  • Deliver BSE content as per the curriculum and ensure learning objectives are met.
  • Complete tripartite progress reviews with apprentices and employers and carry out all scheduled tasks and milestones as detailed on the apprenticeship training plan.
  • Maintain strong relationships with industry partners.
  • Provide excellent learner support throughout the apprenticeship.
Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should have subject matter expertise in Building Services Engineering and relevant teaching or training experience. Proven ability to support and assess apprentices, strong communication skills, and experience working with industry partners are essential.
