Building Services Engineer

Location: Bristol or surrounding area, covering within 1 hour from Bristol

Salary: GBP40–45k plus van, overtime

This role suits Multi Skilled Engineers working in planned and reactive maintenance, including remedial, small, and minor works installations.

Company Overview

This company manages several commercial properties across the region. Due to new site acquisitions, they are recruiting a Building Services Maintenance Engineer to cover Bristol, Bath, Gloucester, and parts of Wiltshire.

Qualifications and Skills

The client is flexible on qualifications but requires candidates to have experience in HVAC, M&E, Commercial Plumbing, or be a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, either mechanically or electrically qualified, with a passion for service and maintenance within the commercial sector.

Responsibilities

1. Perform planned and reactive maintenance in plant rooms and communal areas
2. Handle statutory compliance tasks
3. Fault finding on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning Plant
4. Water temperature checks, Legionella testing, Pumps and Motors, AHUs, FCUs
5. General plumbing tasks such as TMVs, flushing, and replacing like for like

Qualifications

Qualified in Mechanical (Air Conditioning, Gas, or Commercial Plumbing) or Electrical (Level 2 minimum) with experience in commercial plant rooms.
