An exciting opportunity has become available for a full-time Building Health & Safety Manager based at Kent Police Headquarters to lead and support our health and safety strategy across the force.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Lead on health and safety compliance across construction and building projects.
  • Provide expert advice on the application of CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
  • Deliver training and engage staff at all levels on safety matters.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure best practice is followed.
  • Support project delivery with a focus on safety, quality, and timelines.
  • Degree or HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
  • Membership of IOSH or similar professional body.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Experience in construction or civil engineering safety.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel across Kent and work flexibly as needed.
  • Experience delivering projects to strict deadlines.
  • Strong customer relationship and networking skills.
  • Experience working in small, collaborative teams.

Kent Policeoffer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £56,889.00.
