Building Physics Responsibilities
  • Support energy and sustainability modelling using tools such as IES-VE or similar.
  • Assist with Part L compliance, TM54 operational energy assessments and thermal comfort analysis.
  • Contribute to optimising low-energy design strategies in collaboration with architects and engineers.
Daylighting & Sunlight Responsibilities
  • Undertake External Daylight/Sunlight Impact Assessments in accordance with BRE 209.
  • Deliver Internal Daylight Assessments to support planning and design optimisation.
  • Carry out Overshadowing Assessments for gardens, courtyards and external amenity areas.
  • Complete Daylight and Sunlight Calculations for schemes with limited natural light.

You’ll be working within an integrated team of sustainability, environmental, planning and engineering specialists, gaining real hands‑on project experience from day one.

About You
  • Up to 3 years' experience in building physics, sustainability, daylighting or a related discipline.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for sustainability and a desire to learn and develop.
What’s on Offer
  • A wide range of projects, from small‑scale refurbishments to major masterplans.
  • Extensive training, mentorship and support to achieve professional accreditations and licences.
  • Exposure to multidisciplinary teams spanning energy, environmental, acoustics, transport and planning.
  • A collaborative, supportive working culture with clear opportunities for career progression.
